Well week one is over and I just weighed myself. I have lost 5 pounds and will take my measurements in a little while. It was not a resounding successful week though. I decided on Saturday that I was only going to do one shake and would eat lunch with the family and didn’t have a shake at all on Sunday as I fixed a hot breakfast for everyone. Then Ceirra pulled another stunt and I started stress eating on Wednesday. I am going to try to get back on track today and work at having a better week 2.
I noticed I was really hungry between meals so I did have snacks but I also tried to make sure they were healthy snacks. I need to go buy apples celery and carrots today and more peanut butter. I did discover that a little protein in the form of a large tablespoon of peanut butter with my apple or celery took away more of the hunger pains. I also tried to cook healthier dinners throughout the week and did not go back for any seconds except for the veggies which I did not add any form of fat while cooking. I figured steamed veggies without additives would be okay.
Again I did the measurements by myself so not sure how accurate they are but here are this week’s numbers.
Neck: 13 ½
Arms L/R: 13 ¼ / 13 ¾
Upper Chest: 39 ¾
Chest: 41
Waist: 37 ½
Bellybutton: 38
Hips: 41 ¾
Buttocks: 42 ¼
Thigh L/R: 23 ½ / 24 ½
Calves L/R: 13 ¼ / 13 ¼
Which gives me a 4.5 total loss in inches mostly in ¼ inch increments but a loss nonetheless along with the 5 pound weight loss so I guess my week was more successful than I originally thought it was? I am going to aim for a more successful week this next week though.
I may go ahead and not do the shakes on the weekend again this week or maybe on the breakfast one but will continue to cook healthier meals for the family. I think the other thing I might think about doing is to get a diary and start keeping track of exactly what I’m eating and when. This may help me identify my shaky times of the day so I can work on getting through them better.
Again no pictures for several reasons first I don’t want to ask anyone to take the pictures and two I need a good sports bra so I can get an accurate overall view of my figure or lack thereof.
